I've been wanting blog for awhile now - so here is my first attempt! I'm honestly not sure exactly what one does with a blog but maybe I'll be so creative someone will stumble upon this, think it would make an excellent movie, get Meryl Streep's daughter (I'm not that old yet!) to play me, and I'll be strolling the red carpet in an unbelievably beautiful but extremely uncomfortable formal and a pair of styling 6 inch pinch your toes til they bleed pumps wondering why I ever started a blog to begin with!
Seriously, I guess I want this space to be a place I can talk about things that are affecting many of my girlfriends...namely turning 50 in the very near future. I can't quite believe that my children have grown up and yet I've managed to stay 25! LOL! Don't I wish - to be 25 with all the knowledge and life experience that getting to 50 brings.
So some of the thoughts I'd like to blog about include empty nesters, turning 50, re-locating, new jobs, financial worries and plans, my family, and of course my dog.
In the words of my Grandpa - "y'all come back now, ya hear?!"
